• Account and contact data: full name, email address, mobile and WhatsApp numbers, login credentials and account identifiers.
• Customer and eligibility details: date of birth, service district and area, addresses, emergency or guarantor contact details, and relevant identity numbers such as national ID, passport, birth certificate, visa/residence permit and driving licence information when provided or needed.
• Uploaded documents: customer photograph and identity, licence or guarantor documents uploaded as part of identity and booking verification.
• Booking and transaction records: selected motorcycle, desired rental dates, booking status, customer communication and payment method, transaction references or payment proof if supplied.
• Technical and usage data: pages visited, booking-flow events, a browser-generated visitor identifier, browser storage used for login/session and analytics, and basic technical data required to operate and protect the service. Website analytics and hosting infrastructure may process standard request information.
• Support correspondence: enquiries sent to us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

The exact data requested depends on the features you use. Simply viewing the public motorcycle catalogue does not require submitting identity documents.

2. How we use information

• Create and protect customer accounts, authenticate sign-ins and provide account access.
• Check rental eligibility and identity details; review documents and manage rental and booking requests.
• Contact you about availability, changes, verification, bookings, payments and customer support.
• Maintain transaction records, prevent misuse, investigate disputes and comply with lawful obligations.
• Measure website/app performance and improve reliability and booking experience.

3. Sharing and service providers

Information may be accessed by authorized Bike Bhara staff for the purposes above and processed by technology providers used to operate the service, including Supabase (authentication, database and file storage) and Vercel (website hosting and analytics). Where you choose to contact us by WhatsApp, relevant information is processed through WhatsApp/Meta under their own terms. We may disclose information when required by applicable law, to protect rights and safety, or to resolve genuine transaction disputes.

We do not make your identity documents publicly accessible or share them with other customers as a user-to-user feature. We do not sell customer identity documents or personal information.

4. Security

We use account authentication, access restrictions and operational controls intended to protect customer records and uploaded documents. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security. Please use a unique password, keep your credentials confidential and notify us of suspicious activity. Never send your password by email or WhatsApp.

5. Retention, correction and deletion

We keep information while needed to maintain your account, process bookings and rentals, provide support and meet legitimate accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute and legal obligations. Some records may need to be retained after an account is closed where required by law or necessary to resolve an outstanding transaction; we restrict their use and remove or de-identify data when no longer needed.

You may request correction of your details or deletion of your account and associated data. We verify that the request comes from the account holder, review any active rental or unsettled obligation, and delete data not required to be retained for legitimate reasons. Deactivating an account alone is not the same as deleting it.

6. Children's privacy and age eligibility

Bike Bhara motorcycle rental services are intended for adults aged 18 or older, subject to driving licence and eligibility checks. We do not intentionally offer account-based rental services to children.

7. Your choices

You may view and edit available profile details within your account, choose whether to provide optional information, contact us to correct records, or request account deletion. Some requested information is necessary before a rental can be approved.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this notice as our app, services or legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
